Position Responsibilities:

§  Publish web content and play one or more roles in the web content workflow process, including acting as point of contact for multiple organization websites.
§  Distribute internal and external communications (for example, emails and postings to intranet, sales force and public website) in a timely manner.
§  Provide guidance to content owners regarding web content, functionality and design; work collaboratively with IT to identify opportunities for ongoing improvements.
§  Coordinate and manage the relocation of several websites to new domains, including revising content and working with stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met.
§  Project manage updates to websites and marketing material
§  Assist in the design and layout of internal communication materials (intranet site, employee emails, etc.) and provide support as required for special internal and external communications projects.
§  Provide support in designing and implementing new marketing materials to fulfill corporate objectives.
§  Develop the new brand vision by contributing to communications developed internally and by third party partners.
§  Set and communicate clear objectives to management regarding: timelines, requirements and deliverables for assigned projects.
§  Gather, analyze and apply stakeholder input / competitive research to ensure success of projects assigned.
§  Assist in the development of effective marketing material to coincide with the new brand launch.
§  Assist in the development of the online voice of USCI by providing editing and proofreading support for web communications.
§  Assist in the implementation of the online component of the communications strategy to ensure coordinated messaging across the business both internally and externally, as well as in print and online.
Act as back-up central point of contact for Sales Force communication-related inquiries.

Position Requirements:

  • Degree / diploma in Marketing
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in a marketing environment, including significant web/digital focus
  • Strong organizational and project planning disciplines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with ability to change tone, style and messaging to suit audience needs.
  • Completely proficient in both written and spoken English; proficiency in French a desirable asset
  • Proven ability to successfully apply analytical thinking
  • Appetite for learning new media and experience with HTML, CSS, Front Page, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Google Analytics, Flash, FTP applications, and Microsoft Office products
  • Print production and/or graphic design experience an asset
