I'm having trouble formatting my job posting. Can you help?
Of course, we'd be happy to. Simply send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to help you with getting your job online. Please note, that copying and pasting from Word usually works fine. However, if you're having some trouble with this, you can try to first paste your job details into a plain text file, and then copy and paste from that.
Can I get a discount if I post more than one job?
When you go the Post Job page, you will see an option to purchase a job pack. Job packs offer savings and convenience.
How long are jobs online for?
Jobs stay online for 60 days. Once you post your job, you can close your job before the 60 days if you fill the position. Jobs may close early if a application deadline is mentioned in the job posting.
How can I edit my job posting?
Once your job is posted you will receive an email that will include a special link to edit your job.
How can I get a receipt for my job posting?
As soon as your job is posted we will send you an email that will include a receipt for your job posting.
I can't login. What should I do?
Employers don't require an account or login information to post a job. Jobs can be posted, edited and deleted without an account. Login is only required for job seekers.
Why can't I see the Apply For Job information in my job posting?
When job seekers are logged in they are able to see all of the details of your job, including the Apply For Job information. Logged out visitors don't have access to this information which ensures that you receive applications from qualified candidates and reduces spam applications.

I just signed up, why I can't I log in?
Once you sign up and if you've been approved, you will receive a welcome email from us with details to login so that you can apply for jobs.
I think my application wasn't approved, why?
The most common reasons applications aren't approved are: incomplete or inaccurate information submitted, no resume or professional profile listing work experience provided, lack direct relevant work experience, are not legally eligible to work in Canada. If you think you match all of this criteria and your application wasn't approved or if you would like to submit additional information please email us at email@example.com. If your application is under review and you are approved, you will receive an email with log in information within one business day.
I received the welcome email, but I can't login
If you're copying-and-pasting the email and password you received in the welcome email, make sure there are no spaces before or after the text you entered. If you've confirmed that and you still can't login after receiving a welcome email please contact us.
Any tips for applying to jobs?
I clicked on the link in a job posting to apply, but it's not working
If you're on a specific job's page and you click on a link to apply in the Apply FOr Job section of the job posting and it doesn't work, that usually means that the employer has just recently closed the job.
I live outside of Canada, can I still use FreshGigs.ca?
If you have a valid work permit for Canada, are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident, you are welcome to apply for a FreshGigs.ca account here. If you don't have one of these, please wait until you've arrived in Canada to join. The vast majority of employers that post jobs on FreshGigs.ca are looking for candidates that can work in Canada right away without having to go through a work permit process.
Does FreshGigs.ca offer recruitment services?
Not at this time. FreshGigs.ca is a job site that specializes in marketing, advertising, communications and design jobs in Canada. We list jobs that are posted by employers so that qualified job seekers can apply for them. We do not directly assist job seekers with job placement or offer recruiting services.
When I apply for a job through FreshGigs.ca will I get a confirmation email?
Anytime you apply to a job posted on FreshGigs.ca our system sends your email directly to the employer. Any confirmation or response to your email will come directly from the employer, and hopefully they'll connect with you very soon.
