Web Designer - Western Region, North America full-time
Group zed is looking for a talented intermediate digital Designer in our Burnaby, BC office to join our dynamic Marketing team. The Designer will collaborate closely with other expert designers and members of the marketing team on our four (4) company brands (Vision33, zedIT Solutions, zedSuite and Atlantic DataSystems) to help bring ideas to life through design.
The ideal candidate will show passion for design, and be a creative, out of the box thinker with a marketing mind. You will possess exceptional design-thinking, and making a positive impact. Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills are essential. In this role you will design primarily for the Web, but will also assist the marketing team with all their day to day needs which may include laying out collateral, designing infographics, event signage, branding, video editing and production, motion graphics, and more. We are a fast paced marketing team and looking for someone who will hit the ground running.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Diploma/degree in Graphic Design (or relevant experience)
- 3-5 years of full-time design experience (excluding internships)
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (other Adobe Suite products a plus)
- Experience in web production using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of best design practices for print layout and website UI
- A highly organized and accountable self-starter who has superb time management skills and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Contribute to the ideation and creation of marketing ideas and activities
- Ensure brand and company messaging are consistent across all collateral
