Drive Digital is an award-winning creative digital agency specializing in web design and development. We’re based in Vancouver, BC with additional offices in Toronto and NYC. We’re lucky enough to work with some amazing brands (Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, BFL Canada, Hollyburn Properties, WhiteWater West) and are sister-agencies with 6S Marketing, one of North America’s leading digital marketing agencies.  And we are looking to add a creative, driven, and all-around awesome full time Web Designer to our team.

For this particular role: we’re looking for an experienced Web Designer who is passionate about creating amazing digital work and can take the lead on digital projects. You will be working under the direction of our Creative Director, and alongside an awesome team of UXers, designers and developers. Your focus will be designing for web for a wide range of clients and business types, as well as presenting and selling your designs to the client.

You should have at least 3 years of professional web design experience with a great understanding of UX. You should be able to display a passion for creating work that is at the very forefront of current digital design trends. Any experience of wireframing and UX would be a great asset.

• Additional design skills that are a huge bonus: After Effects, 3D Modeling, Brand Design, Animation, Illustration

Qualification/Skills and Competencies

• Ability to listen carefully and understand client requirements

• Ability to efficiently deliver high-quality design projects

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• You are old friends with Adobe CC and have built prototypes using InVision/Sketch

• Strong teamwork, communication and presentation skills, especially while working with clients

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail and results oriented - you believe in making things pixel perfect

• Experience of wireframing and UX

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and WordPress is a big bonus
