Scope

Do you think the retail environment is overdue for a makeover? Are you passionate about software development? If you answered yes, iQmetrix is looking for you. iQmetrix is working on building products that will re-define the experience of how people shop. We are using creative designs to augment peoples' shopping experience and bring together the best of online and the retail worlds.

We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity that will appeal to high performance, entrepreneurial individuals who are looking for the opportunity to be part of an awesome team. This position is located in Vancouver, BC.

Skills & Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience designing complex desktop and mobile web applications

• Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of browser limitations and quirks
• Proven ability to write high-quality, readable code that is maintainable and supportable
• Expert skill in bitmap and vector imaging software
• Ability to monitor and adapt to new trends in graphic design
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong desire to innovate and learn

Nice to have:

• Experience with Underscore and Backbone.js
• Experience with CSS preprocessors
• Sample projects (either a deployed project or something on GitHub)
