Web Designer full-time

Does contemplating well-designed websites make your chakras vibrate with transcendent cosmic energy? If so, then you might be the Web Designer we’re looking for.

As a member of a high-performance marketing and communications team, you’ll play a key role in the evolution of a large and dynamic website and related web properties. You’ll be responsible for developing web pages along with UI and architecture elements that help us meet business objectives and provide a great user experience.

You’ve got advanced technical abilities with HTML/XHTML, CSS and javascript, plus Adobe Creative Suite skills. You’ve worked with enterprise CMS applications before. Your digital portfolio shows that you’re a student of contemporary best practices in UI design.

You’ll also need to demonstrate a solid grasp of marketing and communications fundamentals, along with excellent collaborative people skills. College web properties evolve constantly, so creative problem-solving is an ongoing part of the job, and you’ll contribute ideas in our regular web strategy and planning sessions.

This is a full-time, regular employment opportunity. The salary is $21.66 per hour, based on a 35-hour work week. The College offers an excellent working environment and many benefits, including free access to a fitness centre, along with professional development opportunities.
