We are growing quickly and working with amazing clients so we’re looking for an Analytics Specialist that knows how to impact clients using industry best practices and providing insights and recommendations to support their business objectives! We are looking for an Analytics “rock star” to join our current team of rocks stars that are talented, self-motivated and passionate about what they do for our clients!

We are looking for candidates located in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal or Kelowna! Here’s what we would need you to be able to do:

  • Navigate a variety of search analytics tools to mine the appropriate performance data (experience with Google Analytics, Omniture, CoreMetrics, WebTrends and Unica preferred but experience with all tools is not necessary)
  • Perform data mining, search analysis, clickstream analysis, and conversation path testing and monitoring
  • Review and evaluate behavioural and performance metrics
  • Review and report on metrics based outcomes attached to strategic recommendations
  • Be proactive and innovative with analytics-based solutions to meet clients business objectives
  • Create weekly, monthly, and annual reports in excel or exported from analytics tools
  • Create excel based reports for different levels within an organization that are suited to the needs of those individuals
  • Create custom automated or on-demand dashboards within analytics tools based on the unique reporting needs of the different levels within an organization
  • Effectively manage multiple analytics projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Apply basic and advanced statistical analysis to web analytics data
  • Develop reporting templates and systems based on the key operational metrics and defined ROIs of individual clients and client teams
  • Perform cross platform analysis and design integrated dashboards using business intelligence tools (Salesforce, Marketo), bid management tools (Marin, Acquisio) and web analytics systems
  • Offer strong understanding of and insight into website and user behaviour based on the analytics data
  • Identify organic conversion paths from the data and measure the success of these paths against those which are designed through usability assessments, landing page optimization and site architecture; make recommendations accordingly
  • Coordinate tags and tracking parameters with custom events and path structures for on-site implementation
  • Set up and customize web analytics systems including tagging tasks and page elements, A/B testing, and multivariate testing for lead generation, conversion path development and deeper site analysis
  • Develop usability and digital marketing strategies using analytics data and insight
  • Ability to identify and explain metrics and their related behaviours to non-analytics people effectively and clearly
  • Create documentation related to existing processes and best practices around analytics tools
  • Encourage adoption of analytics within the team and become an advocate of analytics within the company
  • Conduct webinars for internal and external use on the value and impact of analytics in business management
  • Develop impactful and persuasive presentations to project managers and business leaders
  • Demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction
  • Stay abreast of latest trends in analytics and strive to continuously improve knowledge, expertise and skills in this area
  • Participate in client meetings and conference calls

Skills and experience we will be looking for in candidates:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of web analytics experience
  • Web Analytics Association membership an asset
  • Experience with a variety of search analytics tools
  • Experience working within large and complex organizations with different levels of reporting needs
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying on top of the latest trends in the industry and implementing new strategies accordingly
  • Ability to present clear and actionable results
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate to different levels within an organization
  • Proactive approach to providing value to clients and a “can do” attitude
  • Self-motivated individual that is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis best practices
