Mobify is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Mobify design R&D Product team, based in downtown Vancouver.

This is a role for a multi-talented individual who brings a wide set of skills and experience to the table. As a UX/UI Designer at Mobify, you'll be responsible for the creative execution of mobile and tablet sites and apps for our incredible clients and products. Specific skills include: wireframing and prototyping to validate ideas, establishing art direction and creating high-fidelity mock-ups, creating front end code, user-testing, and iterating often.

This is an intermediate to senior level position, and is also on-site. Candidates must be in or willing to relocate to Vancouver, Canada.

What You'll Do

• Make our projects shine with world class visual design, user interaction, and animation
• Create the experience, design the pixels, work with our engineering team to execute, and iterate frequently
• Collaborate with cross discipline teams to prototype, design and code web-based and native app experiences
• Research mobile design patterns that work, test with users
• Contribute to weekly design meetings and be receptive to feedback from other designers

Who You Are

• You have a portfolio that demonstrates rationale behind design decisions and/or case studies showing why design decisions were made
• You are familiar with all the latest responsive, native, and mobile-first web design techniques and philosophies.
• You have a passion for UI/UX design, web and mobile
• You have 3+ years of experience in web or app design
• You have experience creating interaction guidelines
• You have experience designing for multiple screens
• You have the ability to clearly explain designs to engineers and clients
• You love working as part of a team and can juggle multiple projects at a time
• You have great communication skills
• You have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS
