UI Designer full-time
User interface designers at Finger Food Studios work on some of the largest and most innovative mobile device projects used by millions of people everyday. We're proud to say we build things for the real world.
Joining our team means you get to work with a diverse mix of talented designers, software developers & hardware engineers, looking to reimagine the way we use, watch, play, wear, and live with technology. Everyday we are designing, developing, delivering and deploying world class next-gen products that are connected, seamlessly.
Our designers are passionate and driven. The quality of work we produce is rising on a daily basis, and our design team moves that standard forward with every project they undertake. They consistently push themselves and as a result grow quickly. We aren't afraid to say that the work we produce is stunning and we want people who are ready to jump in, contribute and soak up as much as they can from this environment. Bring to this a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail and you've got a spot on our team.
The ability to contribute to and quickly execute on the ideas of others, competently, is key. We’re looking for multifaceted, collaborative designers to work on everything from mobile design interfaces, multi-device experiences, games, iOT integration, and wearables.
What we are looking for:
Strong conceptual thinking paired with a determined and positive problem solving attitude. We expect a strong contribution at the whiteboard stage of a project.
The ability to take projects through from concept to deliverable with a high level of craft and polish.
A healthy design background: 2+ years of interactive experience, an intimate knowledge of industry tools, and solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation.
The ability to both work autonomously and as part of a team – you’ll need to do both here, so we need people who can get a brief and go solo as well as communicate and collaborate.
Leadership skills. Our designers have the opportunity – and responsibility – to come up with great ideas and own the project through to the finish.
Experience in motion graphics/3D would be a bonus.
No prima donnas. We don’t have time for drama - we’re too busy working on cool shit.
