Evertz is looking for a Technical Marketing Specialist to research, organize, and develop writing projects for user materials and web copy materials. The individual will learn details of various Evertz product and solutions. In addition, the successful candidate will help develop technical marketing materials that include brochures, white papers, and quick reference guides to help promote Evertz technology.

You Are:

  • Excited by the opportunity to work closely with engineering, product management and sales teams
  • Passionate about authoring technical literature, white papers, and communication materials
  • Inspired by the idea of working independently and with project teams to plan and execute project-related technical writing activities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit marketing and sales material, including brochures, blogs, authored articles, white papers, technical presentations, webinars, press releases, newsletters, and social media
  • Research products by reading and studying the product specifications, interviewing subject matter experts, investigating hardware and software, observing uses and learning how to operate and use products
  • Plan and manage the tradeshow calendar to ensure proper marketing material and demonstration equipment is present and meets marketing objectives
  • Prepare and make technical presentations to customers and at conferences
  • Interface with product management and sales teams to learn industry trends and needs and educate customers and prospects about company product and solutions
  • Attend industry tradeshows and conferences
  • Interface with marketing team for outbound marketing communications

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in computer productivity software and web software tools
  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms, such as Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self starter, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Aptitude to learn new product technologies, including hands-on operation
  • Familiarity with terminology used by broadcast and network engineers
  • Experience distilling complex or highly technical concepts to actionable, understandable communications
  • Understanding and comfort with technical components; software and hardware product components
