About the Job

We’re constantly launching new armies of robots and we need your help to spread the word! We’re excited, customers are excited and potential customers are excited.  But there are still a ton of people who just don’t know we exist and don't know about our awesome unmanned vehicle products. We need a Technical Marketing Coordinator to spread the word like peanut butter and show the world why everything we do is just so gosh-darned exciting.

As a technical marketing coordinator, you will be responsible for creating, organizing, and presenting the information needed to communicate the value of our products to the world.  Your work will generate international opportunities for our sales team and will play a critical part in our massive growth.  You will develop powerful messages with clear value propositions and simple calls to action.   Most importantly, you provide customers with the information they need to feel confident that the robot their purchasing is the right choice.  Sound good?

You’ll be responsible for the creation and curation of technical marketing and sales documentation, including:

  • Datasheets
  • Brochures
  • Website
  • User manuals
  • Case Studies
  • Distributor/ Re-seller packages
  • Assisting with Technical content presentation for proposals / customizations

Additional Responsibilities May include:

  • Sales and Marketing Analytics
  • Marketing Campaign Planning and Execution
  • Graphic Design

About You

You’re someone who can explain how an airplane works to a 6 year old, then make them want to own one.  You know the difference between a Joule and a Watt.  The terms ‘good layout’ and ‘flow’ aren’t abstract concepts for you.  You review your work, edit, and then review again (and again).  You put yourself in the shoes of your customer when communicating, and care deeply about being understood.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 3+ yrs technical product marketing
  • Good understanding of technical concepts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Understanding of the sales/marketing process
  • Experience developing powerful product messages

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of the Pragmatic Marketing framework
  • ≥ Level 3 fluency in Engineer-speak
  • Passion for graphic design or photography
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator experience
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Webinars and email campaigns
  • I’ve built a robot!
  • I’ve published a technical paper!
