Provide leadership for creation and execution of marketing plans which will meet sales and profit objectives for the Pest Elimination Division in the Asia region, including strategic planning, positioning, market and customer research, program specifications, pricing analysis, sales forecasting, market share analysis, program projections, budgets and capital expenditures, etc.
Responsible for assessment of current program/service offerings against key customer requirements and competitive offerings.
Steward development of compelling and differentiated new product/program/service offerings
Drives training and understanding of core programs to foster a continuum of knowledge transfer to ensure programs are delivered consistently and ultimately support Ecolab’s value-added differentiation.
Partner with Corporate Accounts to drive differentiated programs that lead to new business gains, growth within existing accounts and retention of the top key accounts - Leveraging this success across the industry base.
Fosters collaboration and teamwork across the sub-regions in Asia region: Greater China, Japan/Korea and South East Asia.
Participates in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results, generating Voice of the Customer input to be shared with the Business Unit and Asia management team.
Serve as liaison between the regions and global marketing and business teams.
Prepares an annual Marketing Plan for Asia region which supports corporate objectives/targets.
Oversight of company’s image and brand in partnership with Corporate Marketing, supporting the Division’s standing within the market place and working with appropriate media and key industry bodies.
MBA or Master’s Degree
10+ years of professional work experience in multi-nation firms and cross-cultural environment
7+ years of professional marketing experience
Fluent in English and Chinese
Business-to-business service marketing experience
Successful track record in business development or product/service management
Strong business acumen, strategic planning capabilities, and well-developed leadership qualities
High initiative, strong communications and relationship building skills
Ability to understand, persuade and lead people of diverse backgrounds and affiliations
Proven influencing skills…ability to drive consensus across functions, divisions and lines of business
