Our drive for continuous improvement mandates the addition of a Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist.

As Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist your primary responsibility is to oversee all digital communications within every area of the department and business. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure that digital strategies are aligned with our brand vision to maximize impact.

Ongoing Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and analyze social media strategy, channels and content calendars;

  • Develop and manage influencer program including ongoing research and recruitment

  • Post, monitor and engage on social media channels daily (primarily Facebook & Instagram, grow LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube);

  • Create communications content for various channels, including website blog, email campaigns, marketing materials and PR;

  • Develop insights and produce regular analytics reports with optimization suggestions based on results;

  • Grow and maintain online community for Sympli’s Retailer and Consumer segments;

  • Monitor and create content / copywrite for company website and upload content using CMS website platform;

  • Support internal initiatives and communications that amplify team members and company;

  • Create, optimize and analyze paid advertisements on social media in support of sales and other campaigns;

  • Drive traffic to the company website by creating and promoting innovative video content, blog posts and product-focused content;

  • Utilize Mailchimp to generate and nurture potential leads through social media, email marketing, blogs and other digital marketing efforts.

Occasional Support:

  • Creative development

  • Styling and photo shoot support

  • Overall support to marketing department


  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or relevant discipline;

  • Proven experience delivering innovative digital campaigns with results;

  • Solid understanding of digital analytics with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data;

  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop and Premier Pro. After Effects an asset;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with English as a first language

  • Interested in women's fashion and the movement towards body positivity in the fashion industry

  • Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically to identify and resolve problems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn new programs and software


  • 2-3 years of experience managing successful social media campaigns and solid understanding of social marketing;

  • 2-3 years of experience working with WordPress, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms

  • Experience preparing and editing content for online, publications, documents, social media, reports and communication materials for various audiences

  • Experience with social ad platforms, specifically Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Ads;

  • Experience with online content creation/blogging

  • Experience in fashion/retail an asset

  • Experience with lifestyle/product photography is an asset
