Who is Native looking for?
We’re looking for a rock star senior level designer eager to get involved in all levels of design from campaign conception to execution.

Reporting to the Art Director as a Senior Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of digital and print assets for all brand channels. The idea of a short turnaround time without compromising quality excites you. Your extensive knowledge of design best practices allows you to not only engage strategically with your internal clients, but also ensure we are creating and implementing best-in-class workflows.

You stand by your ideas but are also comfortable receiving constructive feedback from other members of the team. You embrace change, and are constantly looking for opportunities to improve designs. You are a mentor for other members of the team and inspire with your creative flair and leadership.

What would I be responsible for?

  • Work closely with the Art Director to ensure implementation of the vision and direction of our brand

  • Conceptualize and design visual content for web content, physical displays and print materials

  • Develop original design concepts for multiple, simultaneous projects

  • Supervise and mentor younger designers and freelance resources to ensure consistent and high quality output

  • Utilize knowledge of UX methodologies and UI design best practices to create digital designs that both look beautiful and create seamless and engaging experiences for users

  • Maintain visual consistency and quality across entire campaigns

  • Keep up to date with design tools and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve.

Preferred Experience

  • Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop

  • Expertise in photo editing and retouching

  • Web design knowledge - the ability to create website deliverable for all platforms with the latest technologies and best practices in mind

  • Experience with design in a 3D space, including but not limited to: window displays, tradeshow booths, physical stores, etc.

  • Layout and print design experience - everything from knowledge of printing techniques to overseeing large print runs

  • User experience design genius

  • Experience with direct to consumer brands

  • Experience working with ecommerce platforms, and understanding the systems behind them.

  • Knowledge of 3D programs, such as Cinema 4D and SketchUp

  • Photography and video skills

  • Understanding / skill in the latest web technology - HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript, etc.
