The mobile advertising industry in particular has moved beyond the trial and experimental phase and is now scheduled to surpass $21b globally by 2016. As a result more advertisers and brands are dedicating increased budgets to the multitude of mobile channels.

JUICE Mobile specializes in delivering mobile advertising and technology to brands, agencies and publishers to help them achieve their connected device goals. Reporting to the CEO, JUICE is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Marketing who is capable of driving the JUICE brand and product portfolio through its next stage of growth. As part of the JUICE Mobile team the candidate will have the opportunity to collaboratively shape the future of a leading mobile marketing company both in Canada and the US, as well as internationally.  The ideal candidate will have industry expertise, marketing savvy, leadership and technical aptitude to successfully navigate the mobile industry and be comfortable working in a high paced start-up environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • In this newly created role, the Senior Director of Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of all marketing activities both domestically and internationally
  • Owner of all development, evolution and integrity as it pertains to the JUICE brand
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and measureable marketing , PR and social media plan with a focus on increasing the visibility of the JUICE brand and product tree amongst the media industry
  • Build and manage an internal team of marketers and mobile designers while evaluating and securing third party contractors and suppliers needed to execute upon strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams on ideation, development and launch of new products
  • Work with internal technical, sales and operations teams to craft product collateral to highlight leading edge technology and products
  • Manage and drive JUICE’s research projects highlighting mobile and connected device trends
  • Responsible for SEO, social, tradeshow and PR strategies worldwide

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in brand/product marketing, consumer packaged goods, technology or media marketing including a minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of PR and communications principles with established contacts in the media trade industry
  • Experience in the US market
  • Ad Tech experience is a must
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Detail oriented with focus on brand consistency and brand evolution
  • A self-motivated individual who has the ability to deliver results while inspiring and motivating co-workers
  • Superior time management skills
  • Experience in brand development
  • Trained in both SEO as well as social media best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship and communication skills
  • Past experience in managing individuals and building teams is a must
  • Training in design, and front end development is viewed as an asset
  • Passionate about the independent/start-up spirit
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline with a track record of excelling at all levels
  • Post graduate degree, MBA/PHD, in related discipline is viewed as an asset
