We are at an exciting stage of our company’s evolution, as we introduce new offerings that merge cutting edge technologies with innovative creative works. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will work under the direction of the Partner, Business Development & Creative to assist with front-end sales efforts and also with a wide range of ongoing marketing activities.
The sales aspect of the position entails reaching out to specified prospects to set up meetings, phone calls and pitch presentations for the Business Development Partner. The marketing dimensions of the role are directed to improving awareness of our company and its offerings. We are looking for a bright and creative individual who is motivated to expand her or his knowledge and skills and is excited about meeting new challenges.
Using leads provided by management, initiate first contacts with qualified prospects i.e. email/phone/social media with the objective of setting up meetings, phone calls, pitch presentations for the Business Development Partner;
Manage a database of leads, follow-up tasks and related background information;
Provide relevant information packages to potentially interested prospects; and
Assist in the creation of proposals and pitches.
Manage and use Designstor’s social media channels to grow our social media audience and identify potential follow-up targets, partners and fans;
Create, produce, deploy and analyse strategic marketing and communications campaigns including newsletters, blogs and website updates;
Manage and maintain all digital promotional content including company website, portfolio and demo material;
Coordinate the purchasing and production of various marketing materials and promotional items;
Maintain and assist in the growth of client and subscriber databases; and
Identify and coordinate participation in relevant industry and marketplace events, including award submissions, tradeshows and conferences.
Required Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English language)
Experience using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
Experience using a social media scheduling tool such as Hootsuite/ Sprinklr
Tech savvy including use of shared document platforms (e.g. Google Docs), CRM tools
Experience using Wordpress
Ability to work Independently with an entrepreneurial spirit
Process-driven and highly organized
Curious and able to research and quickly learn unfamiliar topics
Some graphic design experience (e.g. Photoshop) is a plus
A good artistic eye and sense of design aesthetics is also a bonus
$45,000- $55,000 annually depending on experience and skills, plus performance incentive bonuses. Benefits package also provided.
