Rubicon Publishing is looking for a full-time Sales & Marketing Coordinator to manage, develop, and implement print and digital marketing campaigns and events to drive engagement and increase the reach of Rubicon Publishing, Plumleaf Press, and various resources under the two imprints. This role requires a creative mindset to create fresh content and initiatives to reach our target market in innovative and compelling ways. The successful candidate will have experience with social media campaigns and SEO and SEM to drive website traffic and lead generation, as well as strong organizational and event coordination skills. The candidate will thrive in a fast-past and collaborative environment. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support successful implementation of key initiatives through customer engagement strategies, conferences, workshops, and other events
  • Coordinate and execute events
  • Create content for and execute social media accounts and digital marketing strategies
  • Support Rubicon sales representatives
  • Support sales and marketing team in various sales and marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Liaising with Rubicon IT, accounting, and production teams
  • Travel may be required

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Professional experience with digital marketing and social media management (Hootsuite, SEO and SEM strategies, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-up abilities
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing demands in fast-paced working environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Teaching or educational publishing experience considered an asset
