RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define, develop, and implement marketing messaging, and strategy required for AMD’s graphics and processor technology
- Collaborate with product management and market segment owners to deliver relevant information about the value proposition and competitive positioning of AMD graphics products and AMD processor products.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams within AMD to ensure press, analyst, and investor relation activities to maximize exposure of AMD.
- Coordinate with headquarter and regional teams to design, create, and execute winning go to market strategies. Ensure that all marketing plans are communicated to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to create long-term marketing strategies around products and technologies, yet derive tactical approaches that are achievable and success-oriented.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a demonstrated ability of understanding of technical concepts and translating them into long-term, strategic marketing plans
- Must be experienced working with creative agencies, and know how to bring products to market.
- Must be well versed in marketing deliverables, and be prepared to bring in examples of previous work.
- Effective at selling concepts and ideas to all levels of the organization.
- Individual must be: self-motivated, well organized, results and detail oriented, with strong follow-through skills.
- Possess strong verbal, written, and presentation communications skills.
- Key skills include technical expertise, organizational agility, and effectiveness in a team setting
EDUCATION:
- BS/BA and 3+ years experience required.
