Who You Are:

Novus Health seeks an innovative and organized marketing specialist to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You have a positive attitude and good interpersonal as well as relationship-building skills, to work with the team as well as media. You have a mind for good language and copywriting, as content is an essential element of our product suite. You know how to create effective presentations and proposals. You’re a digital marketing expert who understands different audiences and their distribution channels.

The Role:

Your responsibilities will be divided into the following areas.

Events

  • Events/conference coordination, planning, and execution; involving all stages of the process from research to conference logistics
  • Develop complete material package (booth, brochures and flyers, presentation, email blast, swag and giveaways)
  • Maintain events calendar

Content

  • Play crucial role in quality assurance for all web content; audit all content on a regular basis
  • Create digital and print content such as press releases, articles, infographics, social media posts, newsletters, videos etc.
  • Maintain marketing calendar
  • Execute content strategy
  • Coordinate translations and edits with freelance operators (writers, editors and translators)
  • Maintain content library for all content created
  • Blogging – write and upload content to WordPress
  • Social Media – write and upload content to Hootsutie
  • Email – write and send email campaigns through MailChimp/Salesforce

Marketing

  • Marketing material – create and coordinate presentations, proposals, reports, RFIs, RFPs, and other new business content
  • Market strategy – work with product and sales team to develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Product launch – plan communications around the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
  • Thought leadership – work with product and sales team to increase product visibility and assist in driving campaigns to build pipeline
  • Market & competitive intelligence – be the expert on our audience, be the expert on our competition
  • Industry research – stay abreast of industry news and suggest new ideas/suggestions for product improvement as well as content generation
  • Key Performance Indicators – track and analyze marketing results
  • Salesforce management – integrate email campaigns with MailChimp
  • Public relations – develop and maintain a strong and productive relationship with both print and online media

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing and/or communications
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience with WordPress, MailChimp, Hootsuite and Salesforce
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of current trends in the finance, insurance and healthcare industry
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Experience with corporate branding/rebranding
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, content management systems and social media tools
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
  • Can adapt and succeed within a fast-paced, high-performance culture

Assets:

  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
  • Experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising
