Marketing Specialist –Full-Time

The Captain’s Boil prepares fresh seafood feasts that diners can look forward to indulging with friends and family. We are hiring one full-time Marketing Specialist to joint our team at the Captain’s Boil location in Scarborough, Ontario.

Job Description:

• Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted and advise on the advertising needs of the restaurant
• Design and implement marketing strategies to promote restaurant food and services
• Advise customers on advertising and sales promotion strategies
• Develop and prepare marketing contents and materials for print and social media

· Ensure all store listings are accurate on physical and digital sites (hours, address, photos, etc.)

• Develop and organize ceremonies and special events for restaurant marketing and information purposes

· Track and analyze competitive activities, market trends and pricing

• Conduct customer surveys to identify their preference and concerns
• Communicate with franchise head office regarding branding, marketing and advertising activities and campaigns
• Serve as the marketing support for restaurant management team to address local sales and marketing needs

Requirements:

• Marketing, advertising, sales or related work experience: minimum 2 years required
• Education: minimum college diploma is required
• Language: English

• Good computer skills, email, etc.
• Proficiency with MS Office products
• Good interpersonal skills and organization skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Attention to details and creative thinking
• Work in fast-paced environment

Position Details:

• Wage: $31.50 per hour
• Hours: 37.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
