Superior Propane is growing and looking for some fresh talent in Marketing.  If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a real impact, and grow your craft, we’d like to talk to you.  As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will be essential in helping to support a results-driven Marketing team through your expertise in data management, workflow creation and in-depth marketing analysis.  This role reports into the Senior Manager, Customer Insights and would work closely with the Marketing, Sales and cross-functional teams in an open and collaborative environment. *Please note that this position does not oversee any direct reports.*

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all phases of marketing campaign management including pre-analysis and post-analysis with actionable insights
  • Establish, maintain and document scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Analyze marketing, sales and transactional data to make recommendations to the business
  • Manage and monitor data quality within Superior Propane’s growing Marketing Database
  • Develop impactful marketing dashboards including campaign reporting and marketing attribution
  • Work with web and digital marketing teams to attribute leads for digital channels such as Google AdWords
  • Develop targeted customer and prospect lists for Marketing and Sales initiatives from both external and internal sources
  • Make technology recommendations and maintain Marketing technology stack by evaluating tools for call tracking, budgeting , surveying and data analytics


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 5+ years marketing operations experience in consumer or business sectors
  • 3+ years experience including data and report development
  • Experience working with marketing automation systems like Pardot, Hubspot and Marketo
  • Experience with data management tools such as SQL or Sybase
  • Demonstrated skill in applying data visualizations to help draw out insights from data
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google AdWords and Google Analytics
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills combined with technical savvy and a resourceful mindset
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, with the desire to make a difference
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Mastery of MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in the energy sector or rural marketing is an asset
