Marketing Guru Position
(Toronto, Adelaide Street)

We seek a dynamic marketing professional who will plan, coordinate and implement the firm’s activities with respect to external communications, marketing and public relations, in order to support client services and business development efforts by increasing our visibility and brand recognition.

Main Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Draft and distribute media releases*
  • SEO monthly management*
  • Google Adwords account management*
  • Google Analytics management and reporting*
  • Manage company website, and social media platforms*
  • Design and develop marketing materials including advertisements and brochures
  • Monitor production of marketing materials
  • Oversee distribution of marketing materials
  • Liaise with public relations and media contacts
  • Help prepare and conduct product presentations
  • Help plan, coordinate and participate in marketing events
  • Execute direct marketing campaigns
  • Prepare and execute online marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research
  • Prepare monthly newsletter and do mass mailing using marketing data base
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends
  • Monitor and assess client feedback
  • Maintain client information via marketing database
  • Respond to RFPs
  • Track, coordinate and assemble data to measure outcomes of marketing programs
  • Maintain promotional/marketing materials inventory and archive.
  • Identify, evaluate and make recommendations for firm and lawyer participation in sponsorships, conferences, trade-shows, speaking and writing opportunities
  • Coordinate activities as required (RSVPs, promotional products, advertising, presentation slides, speaking engagements, etc.)
  • Other duties, as required

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Customer service and marketing experience
  • Proficient in social media marketing (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)*
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
