JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager is responsible for stewarding the Foundation’s visual brand across channels; planning and coordinating advertising campaigns; and leads marketing project management for donor stewardship initiatives and signature events.
The Manager reports to the Director, Marketing & Communications and supervises the Graphic Design & Production Assistant. This position requires a collaborative, strategic self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for visual brand stewardship ensuring consistency and effectiveness across channels
- Leads marketing project management on signature events and donor stewardship initiatives
- Manages graphic design, providing creative direction, project management, and production fulfilment
- Oversees media buying, advertising planning and coordination
- Plans, scripts and coordinates video projects
- Coaches, mentors and motivates the Graphic Design & Production Assistant
Core knowledge & skills
- Strong applied knowledge of branding, advertising, graphic design, and UX principles and best practices
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Strategic, critical thinker with good judgement
- Comfortable relationship-builder with client-service orientation
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) an asset
- Experience working in a health care non-profit an asset
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of five years industry experience and proven track record executing brand strategy initiatives across media
- Event marketing and project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or interactive design, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years in a management role preferred
- Experience leading projects in a client-service capacity
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a Full Time position based out of theSurrey Hospitals Foundation office located at Surrey Memorial Hospital.
SALARY
$75,000 to $90,000
