Herbal Magic is a nationwide Health and Wellness company that provides online weight loss programs and natural health supplements to customers. The company has restructured to an online; e-commerce model with the head office and call centre operations located at the First Lady Products and Great Lengths offices in Mississauga.


To develop, implement and maintain creative marketing strategies to meet and exceed company objectives. To promote and grow company brands by effectively managing all digital, e-commerce and social media marketing.


This is a key and challenging role for a strategic thinker who understands the evolving world of marketing. Someone who is proficient in planning and developing marketing strategies for multiple brands, and has the ability to lead and implement all of the elements of these plans quickly and accurately. This role is multi-faceted:

  • Manages and coordinates all digital, e-commerce and social media marketing, advertising and promotional activities
  • Conducts market research to determine market requirements for all existing and future brands/products
  • Is responsible for all website, social media and e-commerce content strategy, development and deployment
  • Monitors and manages engagement and activity on all social media platforms on a daily basis and analyses and reports quarterly on content performance
  • Develops influencer engagement campaigns regularly to attract key social influencers for the relevant industries of Beauty, Hair and Health & Wellness
  • Expands brand recognition for all 3 divisions, backed by proven results presented on a quarterly basis
  • Analyses customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Manages and reports on the productivity of all marketing plans and projects
  • Reports on all marketing expenditures and their return on investment
  • Liaises with media and advertising partners
  • Collaborates with sales department
  • Plans and executes online marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, social media, email and display ad campaigns
  • Provides performance reports quarterly for all initiatives with recommendations for improvements based on metrics
  • Advanced knowledge of email marketing – Mail Chimp expertise; constructs e-newsletters’ content, manages distribution and evaluates performance (A/B testing)
  • Expands mailing lists through various website and online marketing strategies; reports on monthly growth of mailings lists
  • Leads editorial communication materials including newsletters, marketing brochures, feature publications, etc.
  • Management of all Tradeshow activities


  • Completion of a recognized post-secondary degree or college program in marketing, communications or other relevant discipline required
  • 7+ years digital marketing and social media marketing experience
  • 5+ years working with social media influencers to expand brand recognition
  • 5+ years working with Google Analytics and relevant CRM reporting systems to competently present performance metrics to upper management
  • 5+ years in a managerial role; overseeing social media advertising and marketing campaigns
  • 5+ years in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords Campaigns, Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads
  • 5+ years in creating and optimizing content for Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube
  • Advanced understanding of the process of building and maintaining e-commerce websites
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify e-commerce platform – knowledge of HTML, CSS a plus
  • Strong leadership skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written, verbal communications and editing skills
  • Efficient and effective multi-tasker, with high level of detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
