Rubicon Publishing Inc., a leading educational publishing company, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to create innovative print and digital marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and increase the reach of Rubicon Publishing, Plumleaf Press, and various resources under the two imprints. The successful candidate will be a seasoned marketer, preferably with experience in educational publishing, with a proven history of success and out-of-the-box thinking. This role will focus on creating innovative print and digital marketing campaigns with the goal to increase market share and awareness of key resources within the Canadian education market. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement successful marketing campaigns (both print and digital) to support Rubicon portfolio
  • Research the Canadian educational market to understand customer needs and current market climate
  • Create innovative marketing initiatives through marketing materials, conferences and events, and customer engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team and work closely with other Rubicon departments such as IT and production teams
  • Ensure marketing initiatives remain on track and on budget while continuously optimizing initiatives to reach and exceed business goals
  • Regularly update stakeholders on the performance of marketing campaigns in relation to defined goals
  • Travel may be required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in marketing
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands in fast-paced working environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Teaching or educational publishing experience considered an asset
