Marketing Manager Full-Time

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of all marketing strategies and tactics to meet the local needs of our Directors of Regional Sales and Sales Consultants for one of 4 Regions. The incumbent will be the one-stop marketing resource to the residences, ensuring local projects are completed on time and on budget. Local Marketing Plan development, execution and measurement will be provided by the Marketing Manager who will also be assisting on select Corporate initiatives.

Practicing our corporate values of R.E.S.P.E.C.T., the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing a solid understanding of the business, competitive environment and key business drivers;
  • Providing Marketing expertise to the local residences;
  • Developing, executing and measuring effectiveness of local marketing plans for given Region (Ontario East, Ontario West or Western Canada) – driving traffic to the residencesg
  • Ensuring all initiatives reflect the brand;
  • Direct development of creative – writing briefs, directing Graphics/external resources, approving all creative for the Region;
  • Developing and executing media plans for residences and contributing to Corporate media plan development, execution and measurement. Proficiency across traditional and digital/new media. Negotiating rates, ensuring all data is entered into and maintained in Media Plan system;
  • Responsible for development, execution and tracking of local initiatives and communication of results across platforms;
  • Working with internal teams to ensure projects are executed accurately, on time and on budget;
  • Producing conference and other presentation materials;
  • Working collaboratively with all key clients – DRSs, SCs and Corporate departments including Finance, Communications, Graphics, Online Presence, Accounts Payable;
  • Contributing to the positive image of the Marketing team and the brand;
  • Managing all meeting details – scheduling, preparing agenda, ensuring necessary materials are copied and distributed, minutes issued to all partners etc.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • 3-5 years of agency or client side marketing, ideally working on a multi-location or franchise business;
  • College or University diploma in Advertising or Marketing;
  • Customer centric/client service oriented – internal and external clients;
  • Loves advertising and marketing; knowledgeable about various communications channels – advertising (traditional and digital), direct marketing, radio, collateral, promotion;
  • Marketing expertise;
  • Creative briefing and managing creative process;
  • Media planning, negotiating, buying and tracking;
  • Budget management experience;
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills;
  • Ability to be the voice of the customer and relate to various target audiences, with empathy;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn new software easily;
  • Availability to travel to residences and access to vehicle.
