•Responsible for the effective management and commercial category leadership: owns the P&L & delivers winning results
•Develops & executes marketing plans to strengthen the base business & grow via innovation
•Leads & builds collaborative cross-functional teams

Specific Accountability and Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial leader for Lunch Kits
    •Owns the Lunch Kits P&L
    •Delivers budgeted volume & gross profit results
    •Identifies opportunities & risks vs. budget and builds action plans
  2. Develops and executes the business plans to deliver volume, profit & share targets
    •Knows the business & leads business review discussions
    •Develops business plans with insights, strategies and action plans
    •Measures and evaluates profitability by channel, customer & segment
    •Develops success metrics (volume, profit and share)
    •Executes base business growth (price increase, product improvements, packaging improvements, promotions, distribution)
  3. Develops and executes the consumer marketing plan
    •Leads consumer marketing initiatives for the category including TV campaign, loyalty program (, promotions, partner and agency relationships
    •Identify and develop innovation from concept to execution to drive incremental category growth. Unique Canadian led innovation with a Canadian manufacturing facility to commercialize innovation opportunities.
    •Manages the category advertising & promotion budget
  4. Leads and builds collaborative cross-functional teams
    •Leads innovation project teams & utilizes PDP tools
    •Leads base business improvement project teams
    •Builds strong relationships with manufacturing, sales, finance, supply chain optimization, pricing, category management, customer marketing, food safety, and demand planning


  • Business degree and 3+ years of CPG marketing experience
  • Must possess excellent strategic, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Bias for action & results and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • A team builder and passion for delivering winning results
  • Takes appropriate risk without fear of failure while challenging for constant improvement
  • Excellent project management skills
