SendtoNews is looking for someone to take ownership of our brand. You’ll establish us as a thought leader and must-have resource in the digital video industry by promoting us across all relevant channels. Not only will you make sure people are excited about a partnership with STN, you’ll make them come to us.
Your contributions will include:
Promotion and outreach for the company at large, as well as new initiatives and accomplishments.
Establishing STN as a thought leader via various channels (industry blogs and podcasts, press releases, social outlets etc)
Drafting award applications and speaking engagement proposals
Ensuring consistency of our brandacross all of our communications, properties and actions
Analyzing how our brand is positioned in the market
A fast learner: There is no one who does what we do. You’ll need to learn every facet of our business quickly in order to promote it.
Self-Motivated: We need someone to not only identify big picture concepts, but have the desire to roll up their sleeves and get to work.
Curious: This business grows fast and you need to grow with it. Problem solving and critical thinking skills are paramount to your success.
A post-secondary education related to marketing and/or communications
5 years experience in a brand marketing, communications and/or digital publishing role
A track record of successfully developing branding and marketing strategies
A keen eye for detail and the ability to write and edit copy on multiple platforms
Experience using PowerPoint and Excel professionally
A finger on the pulse of the digital video industry
