Marketing Manager full-time

Showcase is Canada's "retail-tainment" leader, with 79 stores across Canada! With the newest, trendiest, and most unique products in the market (as well as being the world's largest as-seen-on-TV retailer), Showcase continues to become the world's most fun and interactive retail shopping experience!

With Showcase's rampant growth (we've opened 40 new stores in 40 months -- a total of 79 stores today!), we have created a new position of Marketing Manager, based at our Head Office in Brampton at Hwy 410 and Steeles.  This hands-on position has two goals:
i) drive traffic and sales to our stores and website ShopAtShowcase.com;
ii) build our brand from simply "the as-seen-on-tv store" to a credible national retailer of the hottest trends.

The position calls for both an eye for design as well as business savvy.  Hands-on activities include strategizing and running our national flyer program, driving our website strategy, planning social media campaigns, developing in-store point-of-purchase signage and marketing materials, and developing a PR strategy to capitalize on the media's ongoing interest in our products.  Reporting into this position will be a mostly-offshore team of 2 graphic designers and 5 web team members.

Previous consumer-product marketing success, graphic design sensibilities, web experience, and current knowledge of and passion for new media is essential.
