Marketing Coordinator full-time
Economical Insurance is seeking a Coordinator, Corporate Marketing to support the corporate marketing team. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Marketing, the Coordinator, Corporate Marketing will work alongside members of the team assisting with various tasks involved in the marketing development process. The Coordinator, Marketing will also work with the Manager, Marketing and Design to oversee and administer the corporate marketing budget, and complete various ad hoc marketing-related projects/administrative tasks for the team.
The ideal candidate will be a results oriented self-starter who is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once and possess excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A quick and creative thinker, we are looking for a candidate with a strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn and be challenged.
The corporate marketing team supports strategic and operational marketing initiatives across the company and oversees governance of corporate brand standards for Economical. The team is comprised of established roles responsible for marketing strategy, content marketing, marketing material design, campaign development and execution, digital marketing, web content management and development, marketing analytics and reporting, SEO/SEM and marketing/web consulting.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budget administration
Serve as the main point of contact for all budget-related activities within the department
Ensure all external spend is recorded and coded correctly; monitor and reconcile the corporate marketing credit card
Work with enterprise procurement to submit all RTPs for any external spend with vendors including advertising, agency support, etc.
Track, record, and submit all external invoices from vendors through the standard invoicing/payment process
Ad-hoc administrative tasks associated with the corporate marketing budget
Co-op advertising program administration
Review co-op advertising submission invoices for accuracy and appropriate documentation to submit for re-imbursement through the standard invoicing/payment process
Track regional co-op advertising spend against budget allocations
Oversee ad-hoc administrative tasks associated with the co-op advertising program
Marketing project coordination
Provide support to marketing team for product launches, advertising campaigns and website content management and reporting. Tasks could include: research, project management and coordination of timelines, consolidating data into reports, working with internal and external partners on various aspects of a program/campaign etc.
Organize and oversee the posting and upkeep of collateral and promotional materials within the internal marketing portal
Actively engage in, and provide ongoing reporting on, competitive marketing activities
Oversee the Corporate Marketing promotional items inventory/storefront, coordinate sales/ inventory clearance promotions and fulfill and coordinate requests on behalf of team with Enterprise Procurement
Proofread and test programs/materials prior to launch

QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree or college diploma in Business/Marketing/Communications
1-2 years of experience in the Marketing field
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Experience working with external marketing vendors and internal marketing resources
Design capabilities and proficiency in a Mac environment, with knowledge of all design-related software applications (such as Adobe Creative Suite) would be an asset, but not a requirement
