Job Description

  • Create, lead, and execute a marketing plan and strategy to enhance BlackBerry IoT’s reputation and establish a range of communications initiatives
  • Write and edit varied communications, including web copy, press releases, presentations, collateral, articles, advertisements, and video scripts, working with input from multiple stakeholders
  • Build and manage a content calendar of blogs, webinars, white papers, articles, and social content to establish BlackBerry as a thought leader in the IoT space
  • Craft and format PowerPoint slides for internal presentations, sales enablement, and speaking opportunities
  • Create lead generation campaigns and report results to senior management
  • Manage BlackBerry IoT’s presence on Twitter and LinkedIn using best practices for social media marketing
  • Support event management to execute participation at trade shows and industry events
  • Establish and manage relationships with our external PR firm, graphics designers, web services, and translators
  • Ensure consistent and professional use of the BlackBerry brand and standards on all communications


  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally with 2+ years of B2B enterprise technology experience
  • Demonstrated capability to think strategically while developing and executing tactical plans
  • Exceptional technical writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage complex projects independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results-driven environment

Helpful Skills

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, especially Eloqua
  • HTML knowledge applicable to email marketing and blog posts
