The Marketing department is currently looking for a Manager, Web & Digital Media Strategy to join their team.  Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the eComm website, develop SEO/SEM strategy, create and manage outbound email campaigns and support marketing team with miscellaneous tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

  • eComm
  • Develop strategies to increase traffic and orders on eComm site
  • Oversee eComm site including day to day functioning, upgrades, technical issues, analysis and communication with web development company
  • Liase with IT team to ensure systemic issues and needs are considered in ongoing web design and development
  • Monitor analytics to determine trends, strengths and weaknesses of site
  • Support development of dedicated Web Support function
  • Support and manage day to day work of one direct report (Website Coordinator)
  • SEO/SEM strategy
  • Conduct internal and external research as necessary
  • Develop and execute strategy
  • Outbound email campaigns
  • Manage monthly external newsletter from content to deployment
  • Develop promotional email campaigns to support seasonal product launches
  • Analyze all outbound emails and optimize them for the future
  • Support broader team on the following:
  • Digital creative and HTML support for Internal newsletter
  • Digital creative and HTML support for sales & communication projects as needed
  • Social media initiatives
  • Address website issues/problems raised by customers

Deliverables:

  • Drive traffic to eComm site; increase orders
  • Recommendation and implementation of website upgrades (as approved by management)
  • SEO/SEM strategy and implementation plan
  • Outbound email campaign optimization
  • Weekly and monthly web and digital reporting and analyses to measure success of strategies and identify areas for future improvement on the site
  • Mentor, develop and manage one direct report
  • Digital support to Marketing team and members of other teams as needed

Requirements:

  • University degree or Diploma with a specialization in Digital Marketing or Computer Science
  • 5-10 years progressive experience in a Digital Marketing or Web Development role, preferably with people management experience, CRM experienceand a background in technical website development
  • Technical skills – CSS and JQuery skills, HTML, CMS management, web and mobile app development, Adobe Suites – Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design
  • Marketing/Digital skills - web development, CMS Management, SEO/SEM strategy development, project management, Google AdWords, email marketing, Google Analytics
  • People Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak directly with customers when needed
  • Team-oriented, flexible approach to work; willingness to take on new tasks as needed
  • Apparel industry experience considered an asset
