Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Direct Response Marketing Manager is the senior team member responsible for the development and execution of all elements of direct response marketing acquisition, and cultivation of existing supporters. Requiring a balance between strategic and tactical expertise, this key role is critical to executing marketing strategy and achieving ambitious revenue targets.

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or fundraising; Graduate degree preferred and CFRE an asset
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience achieving aggressive income targets in direct response marketing and customer relationship management across multiple supporter segments
  • Expertise utilizing a variety of marketing methodologies and best practices
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate innovation strategies
  • Knowledge of print production and creative processes
  • Project management capability including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution and analysis
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Power Point; proficiency in the practical application of segmentation tools and predictive models
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills; proficiency in a second language would be an asset
  • Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts
