As the Graphic Designer, you will be working as a key member of the Marketing Team generating internal and external communications assets including, but not limited to, producing digital graphics for promotional campaigns, social media, ads, and other marketing initiatives, Occasionally, you may be required to provide support to the E-Commerce team.

RESPONSBILITIES

  • Produce and maintain digital marketing assets for marketing campaigns including promotions and store openings;
  • Create and develop concepts and assets for e-newsletters, banners, ads, social media, and landing pages;
  • Work with Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager to ensure all deliverables are completed within deadline;
  • Ensure marketing assets are designed in accordance with brand guidelines to ensure all assets are identity compliant;
  • Contribute to weekly marketing report and marketing meetings;
  • Assist in the organization of departmental files and directory;
  • Provide support to the E-Commerce team with editing images and pre-uploading as needed:
  • Editing images:
    • Edit flat images in accordance with editing guidelines;
    • Refer to shoot list provided by the Creative team; ensure edited image corresponds to the style number provided by the Creative team;
    • Export and upload edited images to server; rename image according to corporate naming convention;
    • Communicate completed and incomplete images to the E-Commerce team;
    • Assist with on-body images editing when needed
  • Pre-uploading:
    • Compose product description with details on sizing, fabric content, care instructions, and meta description for SEO;
    • Ensure products are categorized in all the applicable categories for website release;
    • Add related products to each product page;
    • Ensure all simple products are linked to configurable product
  • Perform other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom
  • Experience optimizing images for web and photo-editing
  • Experience designing e-newsletters
  • Experience optimizing images for web and photo-editing
  • Video editing experience is an asset
  • Experience working in the fashion retail industry is an asset
  • Up to date and plugged in to the marketing and fashion landscape
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
  • Proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and collaborate
  • Ability to multi-task and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with E-Commerce platforms and Content Management System (CMS)
  • Familiar with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp
  • Understanding basic website design and development including best practices
  • Excellent decision making skills along with analytical problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills; written, verbal in addition to listening skills
  • Exceptional project planning and managing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
