  • Report to and work with the Creative Manager on all creative executions
  • Support online marketing programs through the design of website graphics, social media content, display ads, and additional online initiatives
  • Effectively interpret project needs and translate them into compelling visual designs
  • Contribute to the backend design of web interfaces using techniques based on usability theory and concepts related to creating visual flow
  • Support the Senior Graphic Designer on print and corporate design requests and execution
  • Combine design theory, and take into consideration content, navigational structure and usability issues to create a powerful and integrated experience
  • Apply your deep understanding of typography, illustration, storyboarding and iconography when working on web projects
  • Work within project schedules and deadlines
  • Collaborate with other Marketing team members to ensure your designs are consistent with expectations and overall project goals
  • Stay current on visual design techniques and maintain software tools, using the latest techniques and technology to expand the company’s reputation as a leader in online retail
  • Stay up-to-date on e-commerce trends in design, messaging and technologies


  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Graphic Design is preferred
  • Minimum of three years working in a graphic design studio environment
  • A mind-blowing portfolio of design work that demonstrates creative flair and innovation
  • GDC designation is strongly recommended
  • Adept at relevant design software particularly Adobe Creative Suite
  • Has experience in applying theories related to colour schemes, use of space, text placement, usability and visual flow
  • Understands and is able to create content specification and design guidelines
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • A keen interest in fashion and seasonal style trends is an asset
  • Interest in and working knowledge of current social media apps (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Vine)
  • Creative writing skills an asset
