Graphic Designer - Vancouver
About the role
The Graphics Designer must have a great eye for a design, the ability to turnaround polished work very quickly, and have an extremely strong attention to detail. The marketing team works at a very fast pace with a high bar of excellence, and the candidate is expected to work collaboratively with the team but not require handholding.
The candidate will be creating visual design for a wide array of projects including:
- email campaigns
- sales presentations
- direct mail
- trade show properties
- online and print advertising
The graphics designer will be one of the champions for the Vision Critical brand, ensuring brand guidelines are followed in all marketing pieces.
Even as a graphics designer, it’s expected that you must have some basic understanding of the company and products in order to provide value to the design projects you work on.
You have a design aesthetic that is consistent with the Vision Critical aesthetic of being modern and clean.
Like any seasoned graphics designer, you have a keen eye for detail (e.g., consistent spacing) and can follow specific directions
After receiving project requirements, you can dive into your work with little monitoring and manage your time appropriately.
You aren’t afraid to speak up if you have questions, concerns, or ideas. Communication is critical in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a marketing team, preferably in a B2B based design environment
- Experience in design for digital and print
- Strong graphic design and illustration skills
- Expert with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is an asset
- Experience with video is an asset
