We work with publishers and a huge variety of businesses around the world including hotels, cruise lines, libraries, airlines and more. We’re looking for an experienced, creative, full time graphic designer with a head full of great ideas. This is a great opportunity to join a marketing dream team in a company that is at a critical growth turning point. The successful candidate will work primarily with our B2B marketing team focusing on that segment. We’re looking for someone who can problem solve in unique and creative ways and bring ideas to life through design. This is an in-house position with all the fun and variety of agency work. The successful candidate will work on diverse marketing campaigns targeting the hospitality, cruise, airline and library industries, along with many others. They’ll also have the opportunity to work on exciting B2B2C projects, designing campaigns both for and in conjunction with many of our clients. This is a fast-paced role with an awesome team, and it requires a candidate with a great deal of creativity, attention to detail and sense of teamwork.
Who you are:
An experienced graphic designer looking to take on an exciting challenge and have a hand in huge, interesting and diverse marketing campaigns. You have an attention to detail bordering on compulsion. You’re able to take creative direction, are comfortable managing competing priorities and working with multiple teams. You contribute a wide range of ideas in a brainstorming session and aren’t afraid to step outside the box with suggestions. Crucially, you ‘get’ business strategy and know how to deliver ideas that are on brief. You’re comfortable working at a breakneck speed and can change gears at a moment’s notice. You’re nice, have a great sense of humor and are motivated to learn. You’re into music, art, food, culture, photography, film and/or any other creative pursuits that fuel your mind with inspiration and it shows in your work.
The must haves:
Passion for design
Formal design education
Expert fluency with Adobe Creative Suite
Mad typography and color theory skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and stick to tight deadlines
A knack for coming up with creative visual campaigns and new ways of expressing a pre-defined brand
Excellent file management and organizational skills
Ability to take feedback without ego (no pouting) and turn it into solid design solutions
Strong written and spoken communication skills (you almost never have typo’s)
Experience working as part of a team
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on, results-driven tech, agency, or corporate design experience
Strong understanding of various printing techniques
Nice to have:
Awesome front end design superpowers, including HTML5, CSS, UI/UX, WordPress expertise, etc.
Experience using design to fuel growth and conversions
Fluency with other software like DreamWeaver, Flash, Fireworks, Lightroom, iMovie, AfterEffects
