Graphic Designer contract
Opportunity knocks. Knowledge Network is looking for a Brand Buddy to support our brand through strong illustration and design skills in print and on the web. Knowledge has two TV stations and four brands, and experience in broadcast design would be an asset but not a requirement for this position and you will have an opportunity to learn this part of our business.
If you are a hands-on designer driven to create fresh designs for diverse audiences and are able to take ideas from concept to completion in a creative broadcast environment, we’d like to meet you.
This is a full time position for a one-year maternity relief. You have a degree in Graphic Design or another creative discipline with three to five years’ experience demonstrating the following skills:
- Solid background in graphic design and illustration, exhibiting superior skills with Adobe Suite, with emphasis in:
- Adobe Acrobat
- Adobe Fireworks
- Adobe Flash
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- And familiar with Microsoft Office
- Strong collaborative and organizational skills, providing inspiration to creative team members
- Passionate about public television, documentaries and children’s programming
