As View Royal Casino transitions itself into becoming the premier entertainment destination in Victoria, we are currently on the search for a Graphic Designer! This individual must be passionate about creating amazing marketing materials which will further convey the View Royal brand; from creation to the initial concept phase, to creating final designs and presenting for sign-off, the Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing & Human Resources teams. Other Responsibilities include:

• Designing and producing graphics for websites, print, brochures, posters, coupons, signage, menus, online banners, etc.
• Coordinating workflow with photographers, copywriters and other vendors to support internal marketing initiatives; drafting creative briefs
• Coordinating outside print production with agencies and vendors; ensuring press quality and accuracy; tracking and monitoring related purchase orders
• Coordinating major changes to the web content management system with the web service provider; ensuring appropriate planning, implementation and quality assurance
• Documenting and maintaining graphics standards; maintaining asset library for all digital records (e.g., video, photography, illustrations)
• Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership, employees and vendors
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Creating clean, crisp, modern designs whilst understanding current usability and design trends
• Adhering to and maintaining View Royal Casino’s brand standards
• Adhering to BCLC Responsible Gaming Messaging Graphic Standards
• Supporting many top-tier initiatives and lending creative vision to assets used throughout the business
• Creating appropriate imagery for social media and web updates
• Performing other duties as assigned or directed

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat),
• Experience in digital applications (Flash, Action Script 3, HTML, etc.) as well as experience working with web developers is preferred
• Graphic design certification/diploma/degree from a recognized institution
• 2+ years of professional graphic experience required
• An understanding of branding, marketing, and consumer behavior and the ability to apply that knowledge to design
• PowerPoint/Keynote knowledge with ability to create high-impact presentation layouts/designs
• Ability to produce print ready production artwork to specifications provided
• Detail oriented – from typography to alignment, you produce meticulous work
• Able to work in fast paced and high pressured environments
