An exciting and challenging position exists as a full time Experiential Team Lead. Reporting to the Sr. Experiential Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams throughout North America to lead the field marketing team including retail events, community events, mobile tours, in-store demos and beyond.  The focus of this role is to create and execute events to drive awareness and generate incremental revenue for the business.

The right candidate will have experience working in experiential marketing, coordinating internal and external resources, and will have a strong passion in planning & executing creative, engaging and ground-breaking events.  You enjoy a fast-paced, exciting work environment, get inspired by the latest & greatest marketing tactics and have no problem seeing the big picture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the experiential field team, driving strategic change and helping to develop Vega into a global name and brand
  • Be the voice of the brand and the consumer, constantly elevating, engaging and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.  You have a passion for delivering an enriching experience to help showcase the Vega lifestyle.
  • Support annual strategy setting, pitching in-field concepts to the Sr. Experiential Marketing Manager
  • Lead and execute the retail event program, in both natural and mass retailers across North America, coaching Specialists on how to achieve & increase monthly engagement/sales results
  • Oversee all 3rd party community events at retail, securing ways to maximize the impact of in store events and promotions
  • Lead and execute the community marketing program across North America, focusing on tactics to drive awareness, samples and impact of Vega, achieving set targets each month
  • Support the demo program, helping to increase samples per demo in key regions
  • Support experiential activations at trade shows
  • Lead all scheduling, including owning the master schedule, partnering/confirming dates with with external regional retailers and internal regional sales managers, building out a plan for your team
  • Be the link between the sales and marketing teams, with regular touch base with regional sales managers & internal brand managers, to ensure in-field programs are supporting both departments
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, coaching and retention of in-field reps
  • Lead monthly reporting of in-field activities, including qualitative and quantitative results
  • Oversee budget tracking, forecasting and inventory for the field teams, reconciling budgets on a monthly basis
  • Be constantly finding new, innovative ideas to maximize the infield marketing experience, pitching opportunities internally on a quarterly basis
  • Develop a strategy and support the specialists in leading the regional social media accounts
  • Work closely with regional education team to identify in-field opportunities
  • Supervise a team of 4-5 Experiential Specialists, including career coaching, goal setting, quarterly reviews  and directing work loads

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in experiential marketing
  • 1-2 years managing direct reports
  • A university degree, business or commerce preferred
  • Exceptional organization and administrative skills, as well as the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to problem solve
  • An outgoing dynamic and driven individual who can work well independently and on a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel
