Kobo is currently looking for a Director, Product Marketing.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Manage and execute product research & analysis (surveys, conjoint analysis) on product features, utility and price elasticity
- Support Go To Market Strategies by developing product positioning, messaging, segmentation and preparation of materials for proposals and launches
- Manage market intelligence: competitive research, monitoring and analysis
- Liaise across functional teams: Creative, Business Development, Product Development, UX and Technical Developers in order to assess and incorporate product features in line with business goals
- Communicate the value proposition of the products to the Business Development team and collaborate with them to develop sales tools
Experience:
- 5+ years of people management in a similar environment (technology / creative / fast paced / demanding)
- Must have consumer hardware launch experience
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s in business or marketing
- Willing to travel 15%
