We create high quality educational resources for the K-12 and Higher Education markets, specializing in Health & Physical Education (H&PE), Social Science and Adult Education.


The Marketing Manager is responsible for growing TEP as the leader in educational publishing in Canada. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to plan, manage and execute complete end-to-end marketing strategies for our publishing programs.

This position offers the opportunity to build innovative national marketing programs emphasizing our new digital resources. Other benefits include travelling to key events across Canada, working with cutting-edge educators and leading experts in a variety of subject areas, and contributing to improving the way H&PE is perceived and taught in schools and communities across Canada.

Position Requirements

  • 3-5 years of end-to-end marketing experience
  • Experience in digital marketing strategy and execution
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing or related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with graphic design experience
  • Strong leadership skills, experience managing a small team is an asset

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Promotions & Campaigns

  • Creating yearly campaign plans consistent with marketing objectives
  • Executing campaigns across all marketing channels
  • Improving campaigns by ensuring alignment with the TEP brand and mission
  • Working closely with sales team to align initiatives

Website, Social Media

  • Clearly communicating TEP brand and mission across all marketing channels
  • Constantly evaluating and improving website, based on marketing objectives
  • Identifying new and innovative ways to increase website traffic
  • Ensuring a strong yet strategic social media presence
  • Measuring and tracking website and social media metrics
  • Building awareness for TEP's "Huddle" online community by growing online content and professional development

Conferences & Events

  • Planning, strategizing and registering for all conferences and events
  • Aligning booth strategy with the different focus of each event
  • Outlining clear conference goals and measurements of success
  • Identifying new opportunities to exhibit and/or present at conferences
  • Updating booth material to be consistent with the TEP brand and mission
  • Attending key conferences and events

Developing and Expanding the Teacher Leader (TL) Program

  • Coordinating with TLs to ensure clear messaging around resources
  • Organizing and sending all workshop materials as needed
  • Identifying new workshop opportunities
  • Growing the TL program in Ontario and expanding to other provinces
  • Identifying and training new TL candidates
