The Manager, Direct Marketing manages customer acquisitions marketing programs targeting customers across Canada. This position is responsible for creating, managing and executing direct marketing programs (mail, outbound telemarketing and online communications), associated projects, and vendors (direct marketing agency, lettershop, data vendor, etc).


  • Manage all aspects of the execution of quarterly subscriber acquisition direct marketing campaigns, including:
    • Agency briefings
    • Lettershop execution
    • Customet Data Management
    • Workback schedules
    • Inventory
    • Budgets
    • Targeting
    • Testing plans
    • Post analysis
  • Manage all aspects of the execution of ongoing weekly DM, OTM and EM customer winback campaigns
  • Increase response rates by optimizing customer communications at each touch-point in the winback lifecycle
  • Create new opportunities to identify new target segments and design new campaigns
  • Track and manage project and program budgets ensuring all budget targets are met


  • University degree/college diploma in business or commerce
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in direct marketing
  • Experience developing and managing direct marketing campaigns
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with analyzing and manipulation customer data (Excel and Access)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities
  • Superior attention to detail
