Reporting to the associate director of direct marketing, the manager - direct marketing is responsible for executing direct-marketing campaigns for These campaigns include contests, newsletter and email marketing programs.


Support the Direct Marketing team by:
• Executing e-mail campaigns on behalf of advertisers and internal channels — execution includes deployment and reporting on their performance
• Becoming the expert in our email marketing platform
o report on our overall deliverability and performance and recommend changes
o suggest new product offerings based on the new technology
• Coding and building email creative for internal and client email campaigns. HTML proficiency required.
• Coding and building contests for internal teams and clients
• Acting as the day-to-day contact for other Bell Media product managers
• Partnering with internal product managers to help them achieve their acquisition goals
• Manage the delivery of advertisers ad placements within the newsletter products suite, monitor performance
• Leading acquisitions efforts for lists – developing and executing campaigns to drive sign-ups and data collection, analyzing campaign results

  • Work experience direct marketing/email marketing (3+ years)
  • Strong html and Internet coding skills (3+ years)
  • Proficiency with Photoshop
  • Experience managing and deploying email and newsletter marketing programs
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Strong organizational planning skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communicator (bilingualism an asset)
