The Position
The missing link in our company is Communications – pulling together our communications, branding and marketing to ensure we connect with those who would love to use our unique line of products. This is a new position at SOTA and requires someone with the skill set to create, implement and manage a comprehensive vision for SOTA and the organizations under the SOTA umbrella.
This position is best suited to a forward thinker who can think outside the box and will work closely with our team to build and maintain a strong global presence. Innovation is key, as the political and regulatory environment surrounding wellness products creates challenges and the need for creative solutions. To date, word-of-mouth has been the primary way people hear about us. Now that technologies similar to ours are becoming more accepted as a Wellness alternative, it is time for us to step out and show the world what SOTA has to offer.
The position has a strong mandate to help connect SOTA with the expanding Wellness Community. In addition to leading our communication efforts, this position also requires someone who can quickly learn our company culture, respect the foundation that has been laid and play a key role in helping SOTA as a whole move into a new and expanding vision of that foundation.

You Will Assume a Pivotal Role at SOTA
Responsibilities
As a new position with SOTA, the structure and responsibilities will continually evolve.
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
Develop, organize and oversee all digital content – websites, social media, webinars, videos, newsletters, blogs, forums etc.
Ensure digital marketing content aligns with our brand’s identity and message
Develop content for blogs, magazine articles, podcasts and other media as needed
Develop marketing content for practitioners and resellers of SOTA Products
COMMUNICATIONS
Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and customer audiences that will help advance our presence
Develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase our visibility
MANAGE
Manage team players currently participating in Communications and Content Development
Assemble & coordinate contractors as needed: contract writers, graphic designers, videographers, editors, etc. for above content development
BRANDING
Ensure branding consistency across all platforms
Ensure branding is fresh and as needed, guide team through branding changes
Qualifications and Experience
University education and/or extensive experience in Communications, Content Development, Branding, and related fields
Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
Advanced writing, proofing and language skills
Ability to create easily understandable and engaging content from technical information
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong time-management skills
Positive and professional team attitude
Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Programs
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including emerging SEO constructs

SOTA Instruments offers a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and bonus.
