Major Responsibilities

Maintaining and growing the paid and organic search channels to align with e-commerce growth targets and the increasing focus on digital drive-to-store programs. Some of the work required will be in relation to the French side of the program, thus excellent French language skills are a must—a significant amount of ownership of this side of the program will be given to the candidate.

  • Construction of paid search campaigns for new brands and commodities, including ad writing and keyword research/build outs, in both English and French

  • Day to day optimization and maintenance of campaigns, ensuring negative keywords are up to date, testing ad copy and landing pages, writing and scheduling weekly promotional ads

  • Performing analysis on, and optimization of pages to improve and maintain organic search rank for thebay.com and labaie.com

  • Review daily, weekly, monthly reports and statistics to monitor and adjust key marketing programs in order to maximize growth

  • Review analytics data to manage SEM program to expected ROAS

  • Visits Online and In Store

  • ROAS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual: excellent English and French skills are required
  • Analytical mindset, able to draw conclusions from available data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, able to take initiative
  • Minimum of 2 years digital marketing experience, with a focus on SEM/SEO
  • Agency experience, or executional search experience is necessary
  • Strong understanding of Google Adwords
  • Prior use of a bidding tool such as DoubleClick Search, Marin, Kenshoo, etc.
  • Experience with Omniture, Google Analytics, or another web analytics tool

Travel

· 0-5%—occasional travel to other HBC locations may be necessary, but highly infrequent
