GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Gather, analyze and integrate information in order to recommend and write proposals for a variety of marketing and corporate sales activities and projects, including action plans and strategies.
Work closely with Business Developers and Account Managers to develop creative event marketing strategies (events, sponsorships, trade show, seminars for Group and Individual product lines, and other promotional material such as articles, advertorials, and other ad hoc requests).
Liaise effectively with current and prospective sponsors.
Plan and supervise the implementation of all activities pertaining to event marketing campaigns (supervision of design, writing of copy, production schedule, incentives, booking space, telephone follow-ups etc.)
Evaluate the performance of event marketing programs and recommend improvements as needed
Develop, manage and write persuasive sponsor presentations and business proposals for the Group Business, working closely with Corporate Sales, Insurance and the Distribution teams.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field like Marketing, Communications
Minimum 5 years experience in Corporate Marketing.
Extensive knowledge of planning, marketing, corporate sales, event management and copy writing.
Ability to create professional quality presentations and write proposals.
Experience with Budget management.
Proficiency in the use of MS Word with emphasis on Powerpoint.
Excellent communications skills in English, both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of French would be an asset.
