This position encompasses two areas of business writing: technical writing and copywriting. The purpose of the technical writer is to create and maintain documentation that bridges the gap between designers, developers, and the client, as well as online help material that directly assists users. The purpose of the copywriter is to create compelling content that encourages customers to finalize buying decisions while best representing the client’s existing brand.

Key Accountabilities:

• Creates, manages, and updates the online customer-facing help documentation.
• Annotates design decks to highlight design elements and document interactivity for both clients and developers.
• Works with the Marketing Manager to develop messaging strategies.
• Writes and edits marketing copy for newsletters, banner ads, brochures, how-to advertorials, etc.
• Assist with writing and managing content for the company website and social media accounts.
• 3+ years of experience in technical and/or copy writing.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 3+ years of experience in technical and/or copy writing.
• English or Communications degree an asset.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and various Content Management Systems.
• Very strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and a team environment.
