ERM seeks a Contract Graphic Designer in Vancouver, BC to assist with our current workload for approximately 6 months. The ideal candidate is an organized professional able to apply self-initiative, a positive team attitude, technical aptitude and creativity in helping our Partners and Project Managers produce high-quality client deliverables. The successful candidate will be confident, service-oriented, and able to relate well with diverse groups of technical professionals. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Meet with internal clients to discuss design solutions and prepare figures to go into scientific reports.
Create clean, compelling design for a wide variety of environmental projects.
Prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Communicate effectively with team to interpret internal client needs and give feedback about proposed design solutions.
Support the team in ensuring that each piece of work submitted by ERM consultants meets the necessary specifications.
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator).
2 to 10 years of experience in the application of these essential skills in a relevant work environment.A high degree of attention to detail.
Positive, professional and team-oriented attitude and pay meticulous attention to quality and detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to be meet deadlines in a face-paced environment
A flexible attitude towards time as from time-to-time there may be a requirement to work outside of normal office hours.
The ability to work under pressure, juggling multiple deadlines and to manage time effectively.
The ability to work as a team member, supporting team members with work commitments.
