ERM seeks a Contract Graphic Designer in Vancouver, BC to assist with our current workload for approximately 6 months. The ideal candidate is an organized professional able to apply self-initiative, a positive team attitude, technical aptitude and creativity in helping our Partners and Project Managers produce high-quality client deliverables. The successful candidate will be confident, service-oriented, and able to relate well with diverse groups of technical professionals. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with internal clients to discuss design solutions and prepare figures to go into scientific reports.

• Create clean, compelling design for a wide variety of environmental projects.

• Prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.

• Communicate effectively with team to interpret internal client needs and give feedback about proposed design solutions.

• Support the team in ensuring that each piece of work submitted by ERM consultants meets the necessary specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator).

• 2 to 10 years of experience in the application of these essential skills in a relevant work environment.A high degree of attention to detail.

• Positive, professional and team-oriented attitude and pay meticulous attention to quality and detail.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to be meet deadlines in a face-paced environment

• A flexible attitude towards time as from time-to-time there may be a requirement to work outside of normal office hours.

• The ability to work under pressure, juggling multiple deadlines and to manage time effectively.

• The ability to work as a team member, supporting team members with work commitments.
