Ceridian’s high performing Marketing Team is looking for a storyteller to tell our customers’ stories. We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join us in Toronto!

The Content Marketing Specialist manages our customer stories (written and video) from beginning to end – from initial contact with the client to determining story direction, to execution and dissemination. You’ll have a big impact by contributing to our marketing efforts and help shape Ceridian’s story of growth and customer focus.

The Content Marketing Specialist needs to think creatively, and can make any story compelling. They also need to be a true collaborator, working with our Customer Success team, Sales, Customer Marketing, Video Production and other stakeholders to ensure we’re telling the best possible stories for our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with our Customer Marketing team to identify the best stories to tell based on our marketing and sales needs.
  • Write stories, as well as work with outside writers to tell those stories in the most compelling, impactful way.
  • Gather customer quotes and other useful customer information for our sales team, enabling them with the latest and best
  • information.
  • Coordinate and capture customer stories via video, working with our video production team.
  • Determine new, innovative ways to leverage customer stories via social media, events, etc.
  • Develop processes to archive stories and quotes, and communicate them with the rest of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience, ideally in the software or technology industries.
  • Degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Proven expertise and success in creating content, preferably for a B2B audience.
  • Exceptional writing skills and the ability to craft a clear, cohesive and compelling story.
  • Experience telling stories through video and working with a video production team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to use these skills to build relationships and interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as our customers and partners.
  • Autonomous with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure, able to manage and deliver against tight timelines and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of content optimization, working with other teams (social media, demand gen, etc.) to maximize content visibility.
  • Critical eye for proofreading all communications for accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Knowledge/experience in the HCM/HR/cloud tech industry an asset.
  • You consider yourself eager, clever, ambitious and a true storyteller.
  • You can balance a variety of stakeholder objectives and perspectives.
